Possessing expertise in Female Sports Rehabilitation, Cancer rehabilitation, Antenatal and Post-natal care, etc., Prof. Nidhi Avinash Pande was also an active participant in the ‘National conference on Physiotherapy in Women’s Health Current Practice Guidelines’. At ABSMARI, she is be working as Assistant Professor under the Dept. of Community Physiotherapy.

Prof. Remya K.R. carries more than 11 years of experience in Neurodevelopmental Therapy, Sensory Integration therapy, Motor Re-learning Program etc. and adequate expertise in teaching physiotherapy education at renowned institutions! At ABSMARI, she is working as Associate Professor under the Dept. of Neuro-Sciences Physiotherapy.
Rashmi Kumari Hembrom
Ms. Rashmi brings 7 years of experience in both clinicals and education with her specialisation in Cardiopulmonary sciences
Prof. Sonali Jena carries hands-on expertise in the management of traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, acute and chronic stroke, and post-surgery rehabilitation techniques. At ABSMARI, she works as an Associate Professor under the Departments of Electro-Therapeutics and Electro-Diagnosis & Neuro-Sciences Physiotherapy.
Prof. Asifuzzaman Shahriyar Ahmed is a certified osteopathy manipulation therapist and ex-principal of Kakatiya College of physiotherapy, Warangal, Telangana. At ABSMARI, He is working as Associate Professor under the Dept. of Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy.
Prof. Harshavardhan S carries certifications and hands-on experience in physiotherapy techniques like dry needling, athletic shoulder rehabilitation, management of lower limb sports injury etc. He has also worked as a lead physiotherapist at the Karnataka State 1st Muay Thai Competition! At ABSMARI, he is be working as Assistant Professor under the Dept. of Electro-Therapeutics and Electro-Diagnosis
Prof. Pankaj Verma is a certified Sports Physiotherapist having years of experience as an ex-assistant professor and sports coordinator at one of the renowned Universities of India. Apart from teaching he has also worked as On-Field Physical Therapist. At ABSMARI, he is working as Assistant Professor under the Dept. of Movement Sciences!

Professor Evert Verhagen
Evert Verhagen (1976) is a human movement scientist and epidemiologist. He holds a University Research Chair as a Professor at the Department of Public and Occupational Health of the Amsterdam UMC and the Amsterdam Movement Science Research Institute. He is the director of the Amsterdam Collaboration on Health and Safety in Sports (one of the 11 IOC research centers) and director of the Amsterdam Institute of Sports Sciences (AISS).
Clinical Assoc. Professor Cathy Arnot
Dr. Cathy Arnot received her board certification from the APTA as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2001, Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine in 2003. She is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of South Carolina.
Professor Lars Engebretsen
Prof. Lars Engebretsen is currently the Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Oslo University Clinic and Head of Medical Sciences in the International Olympic Committee. Professor Engebretsen has published over 400 articles and book chapters, with a citation index (H-index) of 56. He is among the world’s most productive in clinical, epidemiological and basic science research in the areas of general sports medicine, knee ligaments, cartilage and prevention of sports injuries and illnesses.
Professor Wayne E Derman
Wayne E Derman is Director and Chair of the Institute of Sport and Exercise Medicine, at the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, Stellenbosch University. Wayne does research in Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine and Cardiology. Their current project is ‘Injury and Injury Surveillance for athletes with Impairment including the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games settings.
Professor Margo Mountjoy
Dr. Mountjoy is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University Medical School and Regional Assistant Dean of the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University. She is also a clinician scientist – sports medicine physician practicing at the Health + Performance Centre at the University of Guelph, as the Clinical + Academic Director. Dr. Mountjoy works for several International Sports organizations in the field of sports.
